Mexico City used a superb performance from starting pitcher Juan Aguilar to down the Milwaukee Choppers, 4-1. Aguilar yielded 1 run over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-3. With the win, Mexico City upped its record to 30-30.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Peter Carter didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Milwaukee trailing 3-1, Carter retired Jim McClurkin to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Carter, with a wink.
