Toros Bravos Lose Again, 8-5, to Choppers
Getting a good performance from pinch hitter Josh Bryant, the Milwaukee Choppers defeated the Mexico City Toros Bravos, 8-5. Bryant was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Choppers. Tom Conrad earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 2-6. Earning his 5th save of the year was John Childs.

In the top of the seventh, the Choppers grabbed the lead when Bryant hit his 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Jorge Feliciano made it 7-5, Milwaukee.

Milwaukee manager Jim Hewell was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.

Mexico City, at 29-30, has lost 7 straight.
