Mexico City beat San Francisco in a rain-soaked ballgame.
The Mexico City Toros Bravos had no problem beating the San Francisco Bay Breakers, 15-3, at Trono de los reyes des beisbol. George Stinson, who is tied for 9th in the WL with a .394 on-base percentage, led the onslaught. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for Mexico City. Juan Aguilar, who finished 5th in the WL in wins with 14 in 2119, was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 1 run on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts.
Juan Villarreal, who is tied for 3rd in the WL in total bases with 102, came through for Mexico City with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. The third baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 6 RBI.
