Tony Peña powered the North Shore Honu to a win over the Milwaukee Choppers. The final score was 12-9. The North Shore first baseman was phenomenal. He stroked 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. The win went to Clancy Phillips in relief, making him now 2-1. Rodney Cochrane took the loss for Milwaukee. Had Corey Quiñones not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Quiñones hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 10-9, in favor of the Honu.

"We got the victory," said Quiñones. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
