Honu Rally Late to Clip Milwaukee
The North Shore Honu faced a tough opponent in Milwaukee pitcher Gilberto Núñez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Honu Stadium by a final score of 4-3. Núñez went 5 innings and allowed 3 runs. The 4th-place Honu lifted their record to 20-25.

Seinosuke Toiguchi, who finished 4th in the WL in runs with 114 in 2116, helped out the North Shore cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-3 with a double.

"Winning never gets dull," said Toiguchi.
