Force Get One-Run Win at Buffalo
New York pitcher Masuhiro Tashima did his part in helping his team defeat the Buffalo Blizzard, 3-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Doug Rockburn earned the save for New York, his 3rd of the year. The 4th-place Force sport a record of 18-22.

The Force got a big at-bat from second baseman Tetsuhiko Sai. For the game, Sai was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave New York a 3-1 lead.

Tashima told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
