The Mexico City Toros Bravos beat the Buffalo Blizzard, 7-3, at Trono de los reyes des beisbol. Mexico City designated hitter Santiago Figueroa had the hot bat. He was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Bobby Leew picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-2 on the season. He struck out 5 and walked 3 in 5 innings, while yielding 3 runs. With the win, the Toros Bravos improved to 17-18.

Ryan Jones had a big 2-run double for the Toros Bravos in the bottom of the second inning. With Mexico City leading 3-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a sinker from Rafael García, who is tied for 9th in the EL in quality starts with 5, and swatted a double to left-center.
