Honu Stumble, Lose to Toros Bravos
Mexico City picked up a win at Trono de los reyes des beisbol, bumping off the North Shore Honu, 8-4. Pitcher Júlio Bueno was a major reason the Toros Bravos emerged victorious. Bueno, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk. Mexico City improves to 15-13 as they look to defend their championship.

Ricardo Tirado had a big 2-run triple for the Toros Bravos in the bottom of the first inning. With Mexico City leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a knuckle curve from Bob Crews, who is tied for 5th in the WL with a 1.02 WHIP, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Toros Bravos ahead, 3-0.

"Júlio -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Toros Bravos manager Matt Spencer. "He was the key to us winning."
