Violators Make Toros Bravos 4-2 Losers

The Vegas Violators got a rain-soaked win over the Mexico City Toros Bravos.
The Mexico City Toros Bravos went down to defeat to Jim Mullins and his Vegas teammates. The final score was 4-2, in favor of the Violators. Mullins picked up the win for Vegas, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Roberto Frescas closed the door for Vegas, picking up his 1st save of the year.
Vegas used a well-timed hit by Marc Burgess to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Violators ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Mullins.
At 3-0, the Violators have played well so far.
