Violators Roll to 9-3 Win Over Eruption
The Vegas Violators pinned a convincing loss on the Los Angeles Eruption, 9-3, at The Courthouse. Miguel Gómez was a main factor in the win. He went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Vegas. Now 73-83, Los Angeles has dropped 14 games in a row.

Vegas grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Gómez hit a grand slam home run off Tim Ferguson. His 27th home run of the season put the Violators out in front, 6-2.

"I told my wife I'm not changing my underwear again until we win," said losing manager Mike Sternberger. "I haven't seen her since last Tuesday."
