Blizzard Win with Late Rally
Both teams had their chances, but the Buffalo Blizzard eventually prevailed.

The Buffalo Blizzard bested the Toronto Maple Leafs by a score of 8-7, in 10 innings. Andrew Long deserved much of the credit. On the day, Long went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Blizzard. José Rivera claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 2-1.

Keith Duncan came through with a big-time hit for Buffalo. The second baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 8-7. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Duncan.

The Maple Leafs fall to 7-9 and continue their uneven start to the 2122 season.
