Ann Arbor right fielder Joe Hunt contributed significantly to his team's 7-4 win over the Connecticut Crosscutters. Hunt, who finished 2nd in the EL in extra base hits with 83 in 2115, went 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Wolverines. With the win, the Wolverines sit at 79-71.

Ann Arbor used a clutch at-bat from James Ewing to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Wolverines ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
