The Nashville Outlaws picked up a win at Cracker Barrel Field, knocking off the D.C. Rage, 5-3. Starting pitcher Don McCarthy played a key role in the triumph. Geoffrey Webster finished the game for Nashville and earned his 3rd save. The Outlaws now own a record of 62-45.

Germán Fernández, the first overall pick in the 2114 draft, chipped in a 2-run single for Nashville in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"That was a really good outing by Don," said Nashville manager Larry Link.
