Storm Lose Again, 5-1, to Eruption

Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Edward and Alex Van Halen Memorial Ballpark.
The Los Angeles Eruption locked up a win at Edward and Alex Van Halen Memorial Ballpark, knocking off the Saskatchewan Storm, 5-1. On the mound for Los Angeles was left-hander Tim Ferguson. He played a major role in the triumph. Ferguson got the win, improving to 11-6. He gave up 6 hits and walked 0 over 7.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. Picking up the save was Yoshimasa Araki, his 4th.
Los Angeles took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Martín Díaz hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Eruption.
"When Tim is on, he can really move the ball around," said Los Angeles manager Mike Sternberger.
Los Angeles has now won 3 straight, while the Storm have lost 7 in a row.
