Vancouver Thunder starter Terry Foster led his team to victory over the North Shore Honu, 4-2. The right-hander was locked-in. Foster, now 2-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. The Honu drop to 5-5 and continue their mediocre start to the 2123 season.

Steve Johnston, who finished 3rd in the WL in home runs with 37 last year, helped out the Vancouver cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Coulda, shoulda, woulda," said North Shore manager Sid Hamlin. "We had our chances and didn't cash in."
