Rumble Fish Beaten By Jazz, 4-2
|
Despite a great performance by Cleveland designated hitter Shawn Fisher, the New Orleans Jazz defeated the Rumble Fish by the score of 4-2 at The Temple. Fisher went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. The third-place Rumble Fish have lost 4 straight games.
The Jazz got a big at-bat from right fielder Kevin MacGregor. For the game, MacGregor was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 21st double of the season gave New Orleans a 2-1 lead.
MacGregor called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
