Mariners 9-2 Victors Over Rangers
|
The Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers, 9-2, at Globe Life Field. The win was due in part to catcher Alfredo Duno, who went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The last-place Rangers have lost 4 straight games.
In the top of the second, Duno had a 3-run home run for Seattle. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Mariners on top, 3-0.
"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Duno.
