Twins Beat Rays, 2-0, Behind Hill
|
The Minnesota Twins picked up a win at Target Field, taking down the Tampa Bay Rays, 2-0. Starting pitcher Chris Hill was a big reason why. Pat Miller was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 7 save opportunities. The Twins now own a record of 51-65.
Hill picked up the win. He's now 3-8, after putting the Tampa Bay offense in the deep freeze. Over 8.2 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 4 hits.
"It was a hard game, a hard night," said Tampa Bay skipper Will Dymek.
