Daniel Batters Bradenton Big Time Thursday, August 27th , 2037 5 times is the charm -- at least for Jeremy Daniel. The Tampa Tarpons second baseman tore up the Bradenton Marauders to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The offensive onslaught from Daniel powered the 14-2 Tarpons win. "Daniel was a tough out," Bradenton manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Jeremy Daniel singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 6th. For the season, Daniel is hitting .318, batted in 31 runs with 2 home runs and 49 runs scored. |
