Barrage of Hits Gets Poche A SE Award Monday, August 24th , 2037 Bradenton Marauders center fielder Steve Poche had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Low-A Southeast named him Player of the Week. Poche banged out 10 hits in 23 at-bats on the way to a .435 batting average. He also racked up 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. At the moment, Poche is batting .297 with 12 home runs and 61 RBIs. He has played in 107 games and scored 108 times. |
