Tortugas Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, September 15th , 2037 Daytona Tortugas manager called today a "dark day" for his club. The Tortugas were officially eliminated from playoff contention and will shift their focus to next season. "There are probably worse days in the history of the Daytona Tortugas, but right now this feels bad," said. This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2030. In total, the Tortugas have missed the playoffs 13 times in their 17-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tortugas have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
