Griego June's Best Bat Choice Wednesday, July 1st , 2037 Mike Griego is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Fort Wayne first baseman joined that select company when the High-A Central announced the results of June's voting. Griego totaled 28 hits, 13 walks, 5 home runs, 17 RBIs and 19 runs scored last month to put together a .354 batting average and .457 on-base percentage. Thus far this year, Griego has hit .317 with 9 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
