Rittenhouse Tags Kernels for 5 Hits Sunday, June 21st , 2037 It was a parade of hits for Vince Rittenhouse of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Rittenhouse finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Timber Rattlers to a win, 11-1. "Rittenhouse was really good and we were really bad," groaned Kernels manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Vince Rittenhouse hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th. This year, Rittenhouse is batting .348 with 7 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
