Edell's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Sunday, August 30th , 2037 Indianapolis Indians shortstop Butch Edell got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Edell to be ready to go within 1-2 weeks. He told BNN, "I didn't expect a sore shoulder to take this long to heal." At present, Edell is batting .318 with 48 hits and 8 home runs. He has knocked in 32 runs and scored 29 times. |
