Redbirds Are Champs of Southeast Division
Monday, September 6th , 2038
The Memphis Redbirds are champions of the Southeast Division, but don't plan the parade quite yet.
"It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the Round 2," said starting pitcher Ben Mangus. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Memphis."
The club's record currently sits at 86-49. It is the team's 1st division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 1st Triple-A East championship.
The team manager said they will take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff.
