Boyd Guns Down RailRiders Saturday, August 21st , 2038 Doug Boyd was dynamite at Harbor Park, blowing away the Scranton WB RailRiders in a shutout victory. The Norfolk Tides starter had everything working as he held the RailRiders to 3 hits in the 8-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Scranton WB skipper . "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Boyd finished the game with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk. This year, Boyd has 6 wins and 1 loss and a 2.77 ERA. |
