Orozco 5-for-6 Against Twins
Friday, October 2nd , 2037
Willie Orozco of the Mariners was unstoppable in his team's 10-5 victory over the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Seattle first baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
Willie Orozco singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th, walked in the 11th and hit a two-run home run off Josh Lind in the 12th.
For the season, Orozco is hitting at a .250 clip with 37 home runs, 91 RBIs and has scored 115 runs. He has 142 hits, 119 walks and a .381 on-base percentage.
