Conquistadors Heading to Japan Series Friday, November 12th , 2038 Joseph Kaouch said he expected the Final Stage to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Durban Conquistadors encountered little resistance in sweeping the Port Elizabeth Potros, to advance to the Japan Series. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Kaouch. Durban won the final game by a 4-3 count and were led in the series by Kaouch, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .500 with 0 home runs. He also drove in 2 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Durban Conquistadors don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Vereeniging Cheetahs - Krugersdorp Salukis series. Vereeniging leads the series 2 games to 1. The Japan Series schedule will be announced after the Final Stage finishes. |
