Vereeniging Cheetahs Headed to the Playoffs

It's off to the playoffs for the Vereeniging Cheetahs.
With their record at 77-60, the club has officially locked up a postseason spot.
"It's really exciting to get the chance to play in the postseason," said first baseman Kokoro Sato. "It's a good time to be a member of the Cheetahs, that's for sure."

Warcats Celebrate Postseason Clinch

The Soweto Warcats celebration was a bit downplayed today, as the team officially secured a playoff spot.
Right Fielder Yukiichi Nihei said his club expected to have got to the playoffs and thus, it's not as exciting as it will be when the team wins the Western League or advances to the Japan Series.
The Warcats record currently sits at 75-61 and they will be vying for the 2nd South Africa Baseball championship in franchise history.
