Conquistadors Cruise to Final Stage with Sweep Sunday, November 2nd , 2036 The Durban Conquistadors are on to the Final Stage after a convincing series win over the Benoni Seagulls. Durban wrapped up the series sweep with a 17-9 win in the last game, to take the series 2-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Kidane Msamaki, who was named series MVP. For the series, Msamaki hit .455 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Durban Conquistadors will play against the Johannesburg Seals in the next round. Johannesburg had a bye in the First Stage. The Final Stage schedule will be announced after the First Stage finishes. |
