McDaniel Tags IronPigs for 5 Hits
Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Johnny McDaniel of the Charlotte Knights had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate in his team's 11-4 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at Coca-Cola Park.

"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 24-year-old center fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."

Johnny McDaniel hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Pemron Clay in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
