The Surprise Sidewinders have officially captured the crown, the 17th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said catcher Leopold Marroquin. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 45-25 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 6th Rookie championship.
