Ware Heads AZL Best Player List

Theodore Ware took Rookie by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 19.
For his spectacular campaign, the Bullhead City Catfish star has been named the 2064 Arizona Rookie League Most Valuable Player recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the center fielder.
On the season he compiled a .420 batting average to go with a .461 on-base percentage. The native of Minneapolis, Minnesota also added 18 doubles, 6 triples, 11 home runs, 53 RBIs and 56 runs scored.
He received 32 first place votes out of a possible 36. B.J. Pfeifer of the Kingman Torts finished second in voting, while Vincent Furigay of the Sierra Vista Hummingbirds finished third with 4 first place votes.
