Hitting Streak Still Alive for Wollam Sunday, August 22nd , 2060 Liam Wollam of the Phoenix Armadillos extended his hitting streak to 30 straight games with 2 hits in today's 1-0 triumph over the Sedona Steers at Maryvale Baseball Park. "Liam has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Armadillos manager Chris Graham joked after the game. Liam Wollam grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th and struck out in the 8th. For the year, Wollam is batting .388 with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
