2050 Pitcher of the Year Winner Announced Thursday, October 27th , 2050 Jools Anthony was overpowering this season for the Gainesville Hogs and earned the 2050 Florida Rookie League Pitcher of the Year for his efforts. In a standout year he went 9-3 in 14 starts with 88 strikeouts in 106.2 innings and a 1.43 ERA. He received 29 first place votes out of a possible 36. Brandon Barnett of the Hollywood Spoonbills finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Jeremiah McGarth of the Clearwater Threshers finished third with 3 first place votes.
