Saguaros Prevail, as Wild Card Series Goes to the Wire Sunday, September 18th , 2050 The Mesa Saguaros are off to the Divisional Series after an exciting Wild Card Series triumph. Mesa downed the Peoria Pride, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 6-5 win tonight at Capitals Ballpark wrapping up the series 3-2. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Dan Ferran, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Ferran put up a .467 with a .500 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 2 runs and scored 5 runs himself.
