Mesa Headed to the Playoffs Thursday, September 8th , 2050 Mesa Saguaros fans had reason to rejoice tonight, as the team is heading to the Rookie playoffs. With a record of 41-26, Mesa is guaranteed a spot in the postseason, although it remains to be officially decided whether or not that's as Arizona Rookie League South Division champions or in a wild card position. "We have fantastic fans and it feels good to give them something to cheer about," said starting pitcher Jack Ryan. "Hopefully there's a lot more celebrating to come." |
