AZL Batter of the Month Honors to Melchor Thursday, August 1st , 2030 Miguel Melchor may be much younger than other hitters in the Arizona Rookie League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old Florence first baseman hit .398 with 10 home runs, 25 RBIs and 25 runs scored. Thus far this year Melchor has hit .373 with 12 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
