Lee Pounds 3 HR Monday, June 17th , 2052 Sloan Lee of the Gnomes went on a hitting spree at Tempe Diablo Stadium today and earned membership in the select club of hitters who have hit three home runs in a game. He blasted three into the stands in a 4-3 loss to the Sierra Vista Hummingbirds. "I'm not happy with the outcome of the game, but it was still a great game for me," Lee said in the clubhouse following the loss. "I have been making solid contact lately, but not getting any lift. Today I got it up in the air and out of the ballpark. I had my home run swing down pat. Got some good pitches to hit, too." The Yuma right fielder did indeed have quite a game, collecting 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and scoring 3 runs. Sloan Lee hit a solo-shot off Kameron Mannion in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kameron Mannion in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Noah Young in the 8th. |
