At the young age of only 21, Carlos Roman has been named the Pioneer League Reliever of the Year winner for 2058.

The future appears bright for the Grand Junction Rockies relief ace, who captured the award with 19 saves in 28 relief appearances, 38 strikeouts in 29.1 innings and a record of 3-0 to go with his 1.23 ERA.

He received 24 first place votes out of a possible 36. Ezra Cuthbert of the Great Falls Voyagers finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while D.J. Brown of the Moose Jaw Diamond Dogs finished third with 4 first place votes.
