Ghosts End Brock Streak Saturday, August 20th , 2061 Medicine Hat defeated Casper, 5-4, at Ballpark of Medicine Hat, but saw the 21-game hitting streak of Stampede third baseman Jeff Brock snapped -- the Ghosts held Brock hitless in 3 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," he said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the win today. That's all that really counts." In his 2061 season totals, Brock has 11 home runs, .295 BA, .365 OBP, 47 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |
