Rowdy Players Suspended by League Thursday, August 2nd , 2063 Tino Casimiro of Elizabethton and Gaspar Coronado of River City were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Casimiro will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Coronado was given 3 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Thus far this season, Casimiro is hitting .293 with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 17 hits in 58 at-bats and has played in 30 games. Checking out his season stats to date, Coronado has no saves in 10 relief appearances. He's posted a record of 2 and 1 with an ERA of 8.06. |
