Palmer Chooses Soccer Over Baseball Sunday, January 23rd , 2061 Hampton multi-sport star Greg Palmer has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his soccer career. Despite his love of baseball, Palmer says he likes his prospects on the pitch better than facing pitches on the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Orioles third baseman. Palmer has offers from several international clubs and is also considering making himself eligible for the pro soccer draft. |
