Playoffs Won't Happen for Yankees Saturday, September 10th , 2050 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Pulaski Yankees. Club manager Elias Gonzalez said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Yankees have made the playoffs 8 times in their 47 years as a Rookie Advanced franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 11th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2039.
