Robison Captures APP Batter of Month Award Thursday, September 1st , 2050 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 22 Tyler Robison has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Hampton Orioles star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the Appalachian League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .342 average with 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored. This season Robison is batting .305 with 53 hits, 11 home runs, 37 RBIs, 31 walks, .413 OBP and has scored 33 runs. He has played in 58 games. |
