Olympia Advances to Regional Championship Series Tuesday, September 21st , 2060 The Olympia Spartans triumphed 2-1 over the New Westminster Cavalry at Ballpark of Victoria in the Divisional Series to capture it 4-2. The victory advanced the Spartans to the Regional Championship Series. For his superb play in the series, Spartans left fielder Lee Barker garnered the series MVP trophy, hitting .500, scoring 4 runs and batting in 5. "Only thing better than getting MVP for winning in the playoffs would be winning MVP for winning in the A- Championship Series," Barker said later. "I'll get to work on that."
