Cavalry Advance to Divisional Series Friday, September 10th , 2060 The fans in New Westminster are celebrating the Cavalry victory over the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in the Wild Card Series. They defeated the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 6-4 in the finale played at Volcanoes Stadium to capture the series 4-1. Dean Koger was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Cavalry second baseman batted .500, drove in 4 runs and scored 5 runs in the series. "The Volcanoes are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Koger said. "Everything at the plate seemed right."
