Big Day for Levi: Swats 5 Hits Saturday, July 6th , 2052 After a 5-hit effort to lead Wenatchee's 9-8 victory over the Boise Hawks, shortstop Josiah Levi told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day." "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Short Season A-level is really something special." The 24-year-old player earned his accolades today at Chiefs Stadium with a spectacular 5-for-6 game against the Hawks. "His swing is getting there," said Chiefs skipper Aaron Lambert, who spoke glowingly of Levi after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Josiah did that to perfection today." Josiah Levi singled in the 1st, hit a three-run double in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, was hit by a pitch in the 9th, grounded out in the 12th and hit an RBI double in the 14th.
