Adams Batters Lansing Big Time Sunday, April 21st , 2052 Peoria first baseman Ethan Adams had a big day at Cooley Law School Stadium today against the Lansing Lugnuts. The 20-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Chiefs to a 6-5 triumph over Lansing. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Adams said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Ethan Adams singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the year Adams is batting .264 with 3 home runs.
