Growlers Captures Wild Card Wednesday, September 14th , 2061 While you set out to win a division each year, members of the Jonesboro Growlers seemed plenty satisfied with their place as South Atlantic League wild card winners. "The South Atlantic League Northwest Division crown would have been great, but we're still in a better spot than all the teams that are going home after the regular season is over," said second baseman Jimmy Snyder. "You can't complain." There was certainly no complaining going on as the Growlers clubhouse was filed with loud music and even louder celebrations following the postseason clinch. |
